    Yep that's exactly what I use mine for! Also my local gym has been using them for this purpose for years and they've lasted well no problem.

    Used M8 Rawl bolts for the floor and walls: Countersunk these to hold the ply down: To be honest I didn't do much thinking about it! I've used it a fair amount and it's placement hasn't let me down..yet! More recent photo:
