    Yes its going to be prebent by the steel shop 4" lip down the front and 4" backsplash. I was always leaning towards of plywood under just for sound deadening. While building this i realized my garge is 2" lower from from front to back lol.

    So got the benches built now time for 3/16 metal tops going on. Should i just slap the tops ontop of the 4x4 or shouls i put some plywood inder before? i have bunch of 1/2" im thinking of going down 1st.

    Anybody see any issues with using pressure treated 4x4 for a work bench build? I have access to alot of them for next to nothing. Ill be painting them once the benches are built before the steel tops go on them.

    Suggestions to help "blow" dust out of garage?

    I use leaf blower to get all the resting dust ontop of stuff. Blow it once then wait a couple hours then give it another shot. Then ltr that night i break out the shop vac and clean the floors and under stuff etc.

    Just go with a single wythe wall. Wood frame it then just do a veneer the cost will be expensive to have a decent bricklayer relay the double wythe wall. In Ont. they are paying $1.25 per brick laid and are short of guys.

    Your best course of action would be to put a angle iron attached to the step and relay the brick ontop of that. The sidewalk and concrete step move differently so its best to keep the step all on its own. It will happen again as one moves more then the other.

    IT will be a light-mid weight castable you are drilling into. Use a small hammer drill and start drilling on the exposed side as it will tend to spawl when exiting. 100% masonry bit.
