Milwaukee Rebate on M18 Fuel Kits

I am not certain but usually home depot is a valid distributor so with their 200 or 150 (depending on the kit) off when you buy an m18 fuel kit and another tool could be a pretty nice deal to stack. Even by itself depending on the price of the kit might be a better deal than home depot...

Lowe's electrical tool reset coming? Klein?

Every time I looked at the Southwire pliers it seemed like they were no better than the Kobalt ones available in another aisle for a third the cost. As far as their specialty electrical tools they all seemed expensive in comparison to the imported ones available at other stores.

    Belt Sander Recomendation

Makita makes some nice belt sanders I have both a 3x21 and 4x24 from them that have worked very well. I would recommend either of them depending on size you need. 4x24 starts to be fairly large so might be overkill on a surf board sized project.

    Porter Cable Router help

Depends on the model... 890 has spindle lock and needs one. 690 needs 2 wrenches since there is no spindle lock. I think most of the 3.25 hp models need 2 wrenches as well.

Advice on a Framing nail gun

I think that the only Hitachi framing guns that will shoot 1.75" nails are the coil ones. Though for framing that is a pretty short nail. Most stick nailers seem to have a 2" minimum. If you are mainly going to be building one shed you might not want to spend as much as a Hitachi coil nailer...
