What's on your walls? Neat storage ideas!

Ok guys, Seen all the great ideas and Like Jack I'm kind of tight with the pesos so here's my bin solution. Bought me two of the HF single sided bin racks for $79.00 less the 20% coupon you'll find in the back of any car or bike magazine...good for one item per day. So this worked out to...

Well, Thanks for all the great suggestions. After much deliberate thought and penny pinching I decided to go with the following Nascar themes wall paper border. Each roll is 15' x 8" and should look great. I'm not a hugh Nascar fan but the Nascar insignia every few feet will blend nice with the...

Let's See Your Snow Moving Equipment...

I've got a JD430 with the new style 2 stage 48" blower. There's a shaft adapter off the engine pulley that drives the blower. The hydraulics on the tractor lift the blower and swivel the shute. Works well but takes too long to set up and not enough snow. So it sits in the shed and I use my 30...

Thinkin that may be the route I go also. I may see if I can use my B&D laser level to set the height rather than chalk....don't know how it'll work over 28ft but we'll see. Thanks for the suggestion. Virago9577.

Certainly an option....but so far any of the bought stencils are typically 12" or so long. I'd rather simply roll out a line of painters tape with a design cut into it....no muss no fuss vs copying the 12" stencil 50 or so times to cover the circumference of my garage. Virago9577

Well Lads, I've completely gutted my 70's era 28 x 14 attached garage, Had a 9 x 5 window installed at one end overlooking the lake. Put a new layer of drywall on the ceiling and then completely primed and painted the entire garage. All but the first four feet from the floor is high gloss...

Ceramic Tile - Why not or why?

My decision is in....Gonna go with Porcelain Tiles - 12" or 16" . Found an installer locally in Eastern Ontario who says he can do the job and that his price for tiles (wholesale) will still beat the US price I can get from Loews or HD. Meet with him saturday. So here's the questions that...

Ceramic Tile - Why not or why?

Ok guys, Have a 28 x 14 suspended 6" 32mpa concrete floor with fiber - It was poured into a galvanized steel tray which was prepped with 250' of pex for in floor garage heating. The pex was held in place by steel mesh and ties. The floor has been in place for 9 months so is completely cured. The...

    Anyone here into basements?

Hey Robs400 - You're an ambitious soul! Doing it by hand is a lot of work. I didn't have the choice since the house was on a combination of rock and dirt. Hence I had a building mover pick the whole house, gargae, and deck up andmove it to the lawn and had at the crawl space basement with a Cat...

    Anyone here into basements?

Hmm, a basement thread....great I love basements and until last summer we had a ranch with an unusable crawlspace....so I just dreamed about converting it into a full height basement. I'd spent some time thinking about how to create a great basement with walkout (we're on a lake) and garage type...
