Foam is too much work to cut out and if you need to reorganize to accommodate a new tool you better have planned ahead or get to redo everything on a new sheet of foam. Most efficient use of space has to be toolgrid in my opinion, plus you have the flexibility to change the layout down the road...

Put lapping compound on the chuck taper, then insert and remove a couple dozen times. Then thoroughly clean compound from the chuck and spindle, double check you cleaned it good. This should knock down the high spots in your taper so you get even and continuous contact.

Have the Lisle's and the Merry HS175C and its not even close, the Merry's are leaps and bounds better than the Lisle's.

I preffer style B cause you have the option to use ratchet drive or a ratchet wrench in the exterior flats.
