The notches are to crack the edge of the piece off somewhere other than the score line, and the ball end is to tap on the cut section and shatter then entire pane...
99+ Ford F-250/350 is 8x170, F450/550 is 8x225 until they went 10 lug. "traditional" 8 lug pattern is 8x6.5". You have to measure OD, offset, center bore, and lug bolt circle to be sure.
Also note that HF sells two different 60 gal compressors, one with a two stage upright pump and one with a single stage three cylinder radial pump. You have to look at what they are actually giving you because the part numbers are interchangeable to the employees.
Definitely go LED, I just replaced 175w Metal halides with 110w Alphalites (16' ceiling), same or better light with no warm up or restrike. I did what Stuart has suggested and found one of Platonic Solid's layouts for the same size shop.
