I’m with the wife, the standard stamped doors do look cheap. I like carriage style doors but there is a cost associated with them.

Por-15 is all about the prep. About 99% of failures are due to poor prep. Need to acid etch before using on non rusty surfaces. It shouldn’t be used in that area anyway because sunlight experience over will affect it, and a master cylinder sees sunlight.

Main beef with them is noise. They are LOUD. So in a shop that might be ok, but if it's for a power outage and in a neighborhood, noise is something to think about. I lose power for maybe 10 days a year due to all the trees and it being an old neighborhood. And you can hear the loud ones for sure.

I prefer the bottom drawing setup. The top alignment looks odd with the garage doors facing away from the house.

Nice build. FYI, the extra drive creates more road hazards for water runoff reasons. Water soaks into lawns while it runs off on pavement, into the street. Even moreso in cold climates like yours. Cities generally have water runoff issues during heavy storms, and if everyone had two drives...
