    I've stopped buying stuff that i seem to be able to build better myself. That crack seems to be in an area thats been bent cold, cheap and nasty way to produce. Rips the granular steel structure apart, doesnt matter how thick the plate is, when its made of chinese rebars smelted and rolled into...

    Very useful for holding threaded rods while screwing nuts on, tightening stuff etc. Use it almost every day as a plumber.

    Kinda garage related, got the digging and house expansion started, so we started digging out parking space and holes to pour concrete in while we had some steam.

    Heat the house i think, most of it is some type of salix and not fit for construction, saving some for woodwork since it has beatiful two-tone wood. The firs and birches will be put to dry and used for different house projects, some birches will be used to build the front porch for example...

    Yea, i wanted it to double as a loading ramp, could have gotten the hydraulic bay door along with the box but it weighed over 500kgs, and would have taken some effort to install..[emoji16] cool, there are a few towns using tram traffic in sweden still, mainly gothenburg and norrköping i think.

    Here's a pic of the spring/counterweight contraption, counterweight is around 50 kgs, and its a one hand operation now, was pure weightlifting exercise closing it before i got this done.

    Yea, i should be able to find an old fixer upper for cheap locally, farm boys usually just let them sit when they buy new toys. I can fix just about anything that breaks and love old machines so looking forward to getting one myself!

    Haha, the way those u.s car boys here are importing cars we soon have more old buicks in mint condition here than you guys.. [emoji16] Will see what i can do about that particular 57 roadmaster but i see many every summer here! I think a have a clip showing the door mechanism, its spring loaded...

    Just bought a house last year, started thinking about a proper garage/workspace right away. Property only had a rotten shed which i tore down before christmas. Installed a insulated truck box to house my tools and bikes while i build..

    Do they still construct nuclear reactor cores? Been inside a few 50 y.o core containments in our swedish reactors. I wonder how they shipped those things here..
