Very cool! Who did you get the building through? I am doing some "wishful" thinking. My in-laws want to sell me one of their acres, and I'd love nothing more than to have a shop on there ;)

Do you have to hard wire them in, or are they made to plug into an outlet?

You can check out my thread... it's a standard 20x20, 2 car garage. I have one "bay" set up as my welding/working area, and my wife can still park her car on the other side. In front of where she parks, resides my reloading table, and fridge...

I like it. Do you have more info on those LED lights? I'd like to make some "chill" lights in the garage, as I do hang out in there on occasion, and not actually work on anything, lol.

Alright. Here's a couple pics of the garage primered: ...and here's some of the garage mostly painted. I still need to paint the ceiling, but at least that's primered. Also, I have to do the wall behind my bench and fridge. I am putting that off for another weekend, as I am tired as hell...

Update: I started painting yesterday ;) Got the primer coat on, and tomorrow morning, I am picking up the paint to do the walls...

Hey guys. I have this photo control switch that is supposed to be tied into my outdoor lights. I had removed it awhile back because I was using a timer for my lights, and this switch would mess w/ the timer. Well, long story short... the timer broke, and I want this switch put back in...

How do I go about this? My walls are exposed drywall with taped seams. I want to paint (at least Primer) this weekend, need a head's up as to what you'd recommend using... Yeah, I'm a newb, as this is my first home, and first time doing "house projects," haha. - What grit sandpaper to smooth...

One of my all-time favorite movies... I can probably quote that movie from beginning to end. My 4 wheelin group takes the entire week of spring break every year to do a camping/wheeling trip. We call it the "AZ RUN." This year, was our ninth consecutive year... Each night, we watch a movie...

You are correct, sir... I had to put non-GFC circuits in because welding on a GFI really *****, lol. Just as soon as you'd get situated, and lay 1/4" of a weld, "pop!" time to reset the breaker, haha. I am in the process of wiring my entire garage on a new sub panel, just to clean things up...
