I bought 2 units last year. Only a few were 410a units. The vast majority were r32. That's what I got. No extra refrigerant was needed, but r32 is not a problem to find. I would pick r32 again if needed.

Used argon on mine because I had it. Worked fine.

Just put in a couple of units myself. That's pretty much what I did. Get going with the next one!!!!

So many things could be wrong. Kinked ducts, under charge on refrigerant, under size, general poor installation. I had them all. Good luck!

Make sure you can get replacement parts. Had to replace the whole assembly on mine because parts weren't available.

Snap on boxes are fine equipment, not for the price. Especially when used for home. I'd rather spend money elsewhere. But it's your cash.
