All my cordless tools are Dewalt....except my Milwaukee cordless ratchet. Really not a big deal to add a couple of the 12v Milwaukee batteries and a small charger to the arsenal. Probably cheaper and better than the comparable Mac product.

I mounted similar rubber mat to my HF 5-drawer just like Coloradical. Scuffed the powder coat with a scotch brite and used Weldwood Contact Cement. Worked like a charm.

Yeah 64456 is the better top. My store had one on display so I could confirm. I posted that info 2 pages ago.

Quoting myself here to add some new info. I made another round of calls and a local store had a 64457 in stock. Picked it up over the weekend :thumbup:

Post your experience please. Including where you source the slides and if the drawers are fully punched/ready for install of the additional slides.

Someone posted about this in post #413. According to that post, part # AC601. I haven't seen anyone source and install a pair on the top drawer of the 54" cabinet but I'm interested since I may be buying one soon.

They all come from China. But I also suspect that stores only (or mostly) receive one of the p/n's.

I'm in the same boat as far as deciding to purchase a 56" HF box. I've visited and/or called the 4 HF's within an hour's drive and none of them have a 64457 or 64164 (red version of better box) in stock. I'll be patient and keep checking but I'm worried my stores will never get one.

I own both the HF set and the Gearwrench set. Bought the HF set first and it was such garbage I decided to buy the Gearwrench set. I've been very happy with it. I've ground a few of the HF picks down into specialty tools so at least I've got some use from them.
