Another garage sale find. $2.00. Looks like a cross between a machinist tool box and a jewelry box. When I first saw it I thought it was plastic. The lock and drawers work well. Any idea what year it is?

I found this while on vacation in Seattle. 10-D Snapon Nut Spinner with "Pat. Appld. For" stamped on opposite side. I could not find any date code. Any idea what year it's from? thanks

I picked up this jack at a garage sale last weekend for a couple bucks. Anyone know any info on it? It works like a turnbuckle when the center section is rotated axially. There is a "pull & flip" tab with "up" and "down" stamped into it that doesn't seem to change how the jack operates.

Found these three pieces in two different estate sales last week. They ratchets are kind of crusty but both work well. Ratchets were $1.00 each, combo was 25 cents.

Anyone know what this is? Looks cast iron with the markings M196 on one side and a 6 or a 9 on the other. Also there is a mark that looks like two capitol "Y"s tail to tail. About 7-1/4" long and the square is slightly larger than 3/4" x 3/4".

I just picked up a 4" version off CL. Pretty nice shape - but no branding. The screw retainer does not say INDIA on this one.

Can anyone tell me what year this DP is? I found one with the same head badge on Vintage Machinery that says it's a 1939. But it has a serial number and mine does not. My searching has turned up very few WTs with this head badge. thanks

As stated above I've already corrected the gib screw issue. The vise was a freebie so I really have nothing to loose but a little of my labor time.....and I'm cheap.

Here is a pic of the vise as I got it. Notice there are no "FPU" markings on the front fixed jaw.

Only have a shot of the back jaw. I'll get another shot & post it of the side of the fixed jaw (where "FPU" is usually).

Needed to complete a restoration on a 103.23641 drill press. Original motor including the step pulley - I think the pulley part number is 18811-103 but I'm not certain. It is a 5" dia (at big end), 1/2" ID without a keyway. Looking for either or both. thanks

I have a 1942 Atlas Craftsman 10" lathe. I knew it was probably from the 40's by the serial number but the spindle bearings are date stamped 1942.

tool_scrounge 6" jaw width. zkling I did this yesterday, to two local fastener vendors, Fastenal and The Rule co. Neither could tell me. I also need replacement jaws. They are 6" X 1" X 1/2". CTC on screws is 3.75. I've done a lot of internet searching without success. Any ideas? thanks
