Help Identifying Garage Sale Finds

I purchased these two motors at a garage sale for $5 for the pair. The 3/4 horse GE is mounted (sort of) to some kind of a pully drive. The SKF bearing decal looks very similar to a decal on my Atlas/Craftsman lathe.

The 1/2 horse Craftsman with wire wheel is much too fast for my wire wheel work.

Can anyone help identify these. I assume the craftsman is off a table saw due to RPM.

thanks

I believe the part in the first pic is for a 12" Craftsman bench top lathe. The GE motor is recent and probably replaced the orig. and typical 1/2 HP 1725 rpm craftsman motor.

Yes, that craftsman 3450 rpm would be too fast and most likely came off a small craftsman table saw, belt sander or planer.

PS> That lathe pulley system would be perfect to convert a wood bandsaw into a metal cutting bandsaw. Almost plug and play.

Post some photos of the belt reduction system from other angles and perhaps we can identify it better. macgee is on the right track.

Here is the only other pic I have currently.

I have a older Atlas 10" lathe and it does not look quite the same.

I have one of those craftsman 1/2 hp motors from a jig saw setup.
The jack shaft looks like walker turner to me.
