Hey everyone, Just looking if anyone can ID this compressor. Its a late 80’s NAPA unit but I’d like to know the OEM of the pump in case I need parts in the future. Thanks!

Old measuring equipment especially micrometers aren’t very valuable unless they were well taken care of, original case etc. Even then it takes the right buyer to get decent $$ from. I routinely see abused and neglected micrometers being advertised as clamps.

They’re all Snap On with the exception of a Wright 3340. The 3340 has a very small head and is the ball detent type flex.

My other flex heads are friction type, irreplaceable if the angle has to be changed during a specific motion. I have quite a few friction flex ratchets, from 1/4 stubby, 3/8 in 1/4 body, conventional configurations and up to 24” 1/2 dr. I don’t want to get carried away on swivel head types as...

My most used ratchet is a Snap On locking flex 3/8 dr. I own both locking and non locking, sometimes I prefer non locking based on the situation.

Yes they have ISRO. Beryllium copper is used in some spacecraft testing apparatus (thermovac chambers etc) but the wood handle wouldn’t be allowed anywhere near said equipment.

That’s just the forging areas where they didn’t buff it completely prior to plating. Here’s an older SO torque wrench that exhibits the same in the selector cut out.

Snap-on makes one STA35. It’s 3.5” center to center, the 6” you want im not sure. It’s definitely something you could make if need be. Shoeless, the same pattern SO is available in 3/8 and 1/4 drive. FTA35 and TTA35 TTA35 pictured

Congrats!! You’re unsure if you need the deep drawers….once you get used to it you’ll wonder how you got by without them.

The current knowledge is if the part numbers has letters in it, it’s US. All numbers is foreign. I have some US and Taiwan Williams.

Snap on TKF72 and hard handle roto. We got some of the full polish Proto fine tooth at work and they’re slick.

My air impacts were gutless like yours until I swapped my fittings to high flow and turned up the regulator to 125psi to get 90psi continuous at the gun with the trigger pulled. They work as intended now.

Not really a “find” as I was given these. A vehicle I own has BS fittings on anything hydraulic or fuel related. A bunch of Britool combo wrenches, Gordon DBE set, Gedore, Koken and Nielsen BS/Whitworth socket sets
