Re: ~ Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff! Just a few that was in an old Snap On tool box I bought. Some damn good wrenches that I use every chance I get.

My suggestion would be to install LED shop lights in you garage. It made a hell of a difference from going from one bulb to 6 LEDs! I bought a $100 10" Hitachi miter saw and it works like a champ for a homeowner.

Thanks for the tip, according to the CSO website it looks a 1960. I could not find any stampings on the boxes. I'll check tonight.

Nice boxes! I bought this from a retired Chevy mechanic about 20 yrs ago for $100 with tools! How do I go about aging the boxes? My guess that the boxes are from the 1960's.

Welcome, my father and I restored a Ford Jubilee that had been sitting in a field for about 30yrs. After the restoration a guy bought it sight unseen. Proof that people still love these old tractors.

I have decided to take mine to a shop since I think it's to dangerous not using a $300 strut compressor. Plus the shop quoted me $180 which is worth not...

I bought this vintage 1950s(?) Snap On tool box from my uncle's neighbor who was an old Chevy mechanic in Ft Worth. It came with quite a few 50's vintage Snap On, MAC, Plomb and Cornwell tools from the 50's as well. This will probably my main box as long as I am still kicking...
