New Bench

I picked up this work bench on a barter deal. The top is a 30"x80" solid wood door. I was planning on making a bench for this area but this saved me some cash.

I'm not a door guy. All I know is that it's solid. And after tapping all over it sounds solid like wood should.

The door had some light wear and paint stains. I sanded with 220 then finished with 2 coats of satin poly.

That's a nice looking bench. Solid core doors do make pretty good workbench tops.

Luckily I didn't have to shorten the legs. There's a 4-way outlet just below the breaker box that I needed to clear.
