    Okay, That makes sense. Thanks. There are 3 solid pins in the key. They are hard to see but they are there.

    Has anyone ever come across a Wilton Bullet vise with the date stamped on the spindle nut? 6-50. No date on the key. This is a 4" 9400 HD. I'm thinking the base is not original. Looks kind of like a Parker. If that's the case then I guess the paint is not original either.
