Has anyone ever come across a Wilton Bullet vise with the date stamped on the spindle nut? 6-50. No date on the key. This is a 4" 9400 HD. I'm thinking the base is not original. Looks kind of like a Parker. If that's the case then I guess the paint is not original either.

That's the part number, or casting number, for the nut. Not the date.

Definitely NOT a Wilton swivel base.

The key looks weird as it is missing the roll pin holes
