Depends on who you ask. Many say never weld a tank the heat changes the steel and makes it weaker. Many others weld on em and they work for many years no issues. But if ya can weld...technically it's as easy as drilling a hole and weld the bung in place.

Mine seemed to be a 3/4 NPT, so anything you can adapt to will work. I used a 3/4" water heater hose copper flexible line, removed rubber washer and with some pipe dope seemed to seal right up no problem. There's a 3/4 FIP to 1/2 OD flare you can buy and use. Then it's regular 1/2" copper.

I did a records request for some records. I think I know who was doing the complaint calling etc. I also found out now a few years later he claims there is an ongoing noise issue at all hours of the night. Tools and loud noises for a long time. Haha I rarely even work on stuff making noise now.

As for country of Origin, I believe many of the hand tools are now made in another country. Armstrong is another good tool Co here in US. The HF hand tools have gotten much better in recent years and actually have excellent quality now they are made by a very well known tool Co.

For a unique look you could use colored plexiglass. Flame polished edges frome a torch. Would look really cool actualy.
