Thank you sir, once again you have saved me. I reopened it up today and found the gears on the center ring( looped gear portion) had some chewed teeth, very slightly which in turn is the culprit. I am debating the flate rate repair at this point, as the light is also burnt and it wouldn't hurt...

Thanks for the info, is there an option for just the pawls and springs like you can get for an air ratchet? or do I have to get the anvil/gear section with it? At that point should I just send it out for a flat rate repair, will they replace the burnt light and worn out body (plastic casing)...

Inquire to see if the estimate called for an alignment, some evaluators beleive that unless there was an impact to the wheel its not needed.... always depends on the accident and whether it had some structural damage. You can ask them to align it if it wasnt done and if they can relate it to...
