Replaced the alternator on my girlfriend's lexus and realized I desperately needed a serpentine belt tool. I can easily loosen the tensioner on my vehicle with a ratchet no problem. I had to disconnect a radiator hose and other ******* to get her belt on. Matco sells the rebranded gearwrench kit for $150. You can get the gearwrench kit on Amazon for $42. PN 3680.

Is matco really reselling that kit for 150? **** like that pisses me off, hopefully people do their research and buy elsewhere unless they like their mac rep that much...

Anyways! I've used my GW serp kit like 4 times now, well worth the 40 dollars :D

My good old Ryobi tek4 multimeter **** out, so I bought a Berner multitester led plus II. I though it would be easier to use, but I think I should have stick with a multimeter instead of a tester like this.
It will end up as a gift for an electrician friend 😁

This was an absolute steal at 36 dollars, I didn't even realize it came with a 15" extension, that alone is a decent chunk of change :D 10-24, no skips, beautiful 84T ratchet and a case.

Jacan,

There's about half a dozen or so various companies re branding those wrenches.

Here's the mountain version, which is getting 4.5 stars on amazon. I believe Mountain, Monster, and EZ Red are the brands being sold on tool trucks. (I've seen these sold on the SO truck. Haven't been on a mac or matco truck)

I have the same set at work. The screwdrivers have served me well, but the darn case is kind of annoying when you actually need to use them often.

Picked this up for 80$ not sure if it is a good deal or not but seemed fair priced probably a little high but should do me good enough. Fein 636 ii xl. Needs a new sanding pad but all the blades and tile tools are untouched and lots of extra sanding paper. The polishing pad also seems new. Seems there are four non fein blades too. _20180808_235721.jpeg_20180808_235655.jpeg_20180808_235605.jpeg

I always reach for my semi deep sockets (chrome) when doing anything on my car under the hood, and that includes throwing them on an impact driver/cordless ratchet. The anvil ends are starting to get a little fucked up (They still work great) so I figured I'd save their lives and buy more tools :D

30 dollars with the coupon code on ebay.

I got a set of the 3/8" Astro Pneumatic Low Profile sockets in metric and SAE. I haven't used them yet, but I like them so far. I didn't have any 3/8" drive impact sockets, and some shallow and deep sockets were on my shopping list. I'm not sure I need any regular shallow impact sockets now, maybe these will work just fine in "normal" situations as well as times when low profile sockets are called for.

I think they're made by Sunex for Astro Pneumatic, but that is a guess on my part. I'm kinda curious as to why the SAE set came with a 9/32" socket - in the rest of my socket sets, that is usually a 1/4" drive size rather than a 3/8". I would think that an 11/32" would be more appropriate, but perhaps there is a specific use for a low profile 9/32" socket that I am unfamiliar with.

One more picture, though I got these earlier in the week.

Genius Etorx socket set. E4 through E22. I'm not sure I even have any Etorx bolts anywhere, but for $12 or so shipped, I figured why not. I have a few other Genius sockets and these seem as well made as they are.

Inherited an ace super set.missing a few taps on the smaller side.also got 2 drill indexes both about half full of bits.will be going through to see what ones are there and see if i can tell what kind of material they are.probably will replace the missing taps with irwin.they seem to sell the individual taps with the drill bits sized for that tap.2 birds one stone.
