All around DIY/mechanic set I went with Norseman 15 pc Magnum Super Premium Mechanics Length Drill Bit Set (SPM-15) (66470) Some of the best bits I've used. Mostly run them in carbon steel, sometimes up to 1/2" thick plate. Use a good cutting oil! Last used them to mount a vise.
