Those AP will also sera’s your WIFI acccess for your devices. I have one on my house and one between the house and shop and get WiFi across most of the property. Working on adding a third on the shop for better performance there.

Main shop has 14’ walls. Wood shop walls are 8’4.5”, 8’ stud with bottom and 2 top plates. Leaves about 5’ right at the wall on the mezzanine but is up over 6’ pretty quickly. Wanted enough space in the wood shop to maneuver 8’ boards and this was the best compromise between that and ceiling...

Finished out this section of wall. Someday I’ll get around to painting it. Was able to find a good deal on more slatwall and have enough to move in to the other sections of the shop.

Added another section of slat wall this morning. That was the two pieces I had left from my old garage. Need to work on tracking down some more. Started on the structure of the workbench for this section of the shop. Using a couple husky chests as the base and some framework to tie everything...

Got another section of slat wall up and started on the workbench frame.

Yes, the horizontals are 2x4. Bottom one should help as solid protection for the bottom of the wall. And the upper will tie in with workbenches in the places I will be adding them.

They are actually 2x4s. Bottom one is pressure treated as it sits right on the concrete.

Got power to the building. Slowly working on adding circuits and finishing out the interior walls. Doing OSB on the lower walls and then a row of slat wall. Have had it in several past garages and really like the ability to hang and move things around.

XJ literally looks perfect. Makes me really miss my 2 door 5 speed.

Nice work on the XJ. I’d love to have another 2 door 5 speed some day. Definitely no reason you can’t have more than one, coming from someone that had 2 XJs, an MJ and a WJ all at once.
