Changing the way Epoxy is Done

The UV cure is great for boats/surfboards etc. You can do all the laminating and take your time then just flip on the lights and cure it. It might get expensive for a floor though?

    Brake Pressure Bleeder - Easy

Exactly! You want the moisture OUT of the air. The pump sprayers don't wring out any moisture. The moisture is in the comp. tank where it gets drained out. Any compressor will remove moisture good or not. That's why they all have drains.

    Brake Pressure Bleeder - Easy

The fluid is too expensive to do it that way and I find I only need about .5 liter to do the whole system. So all I do is top off the resevoir a couple times while bleeding and I don't waste a drop. At $15/half liter for Motul I can't spill any!

    Brake Pressure Bleeder - Easy

I use a regulater set at 25 psi. I basically got the idea from the motive but it was so messy. This way I can do it without spilling a drop.

    Brake Pressure Bleeder - Easy

Pressure bleeding your hydraulic brakes is the way to go. It makes it a one man operation. No pedal pumping, no back flow. I constructed an easy rig that can use a compressor or a pump sprayer. Chedck it out! Comments please!

What do you guys do for a garage sound system..??

I spend most of my free time in my garage and I like my music and sometimes I like it loud! So, I put in a system similar to what a health club might have. I have 4 bracket mounted speakers and a subwoofer matched to a 1200 watt amp. The inputs from ipod, cd, tuner or TV goes through a receiver...

Just finished installing by Bend Pak HD-9-B!

I bought a Bend Pak and I feel a little deceived. I would have compared the Benpak with other Chinese made lifts had I known. I may have been able to either save $1000 or get at substantially heavier duty lift for the same price. I am not opposed to all things Chinese I just feel a little ripped...

Just finished installing by Bend Pak HD-9-B!

I just installed a Bend Pak xp 10acx lift and was a little disappointed with the quality of some parts. In discussion with the installer he said that the quality has diminished since they started making the lifts in China! Here I thought I was buying American! It may be a waste of money to pay...

    Stainless steel welding table?

Stainless works great especially for aluminum. I use mine for TIG welding. You may put some burn marks in it but otherwise its great. I've been using mine for years.

Critique my compressed air plumbing plans.

I sloped as much back TOWARD the compressor as possible in order to use the compressor tank as a drain. That way more of the lines are automatically purged when the tank drain opens.

"Denied" at Variance Hearing - Detached Garage too tall.

I hate to say it but your best bet is probably to "work" with the code enforcement people. Ask them how to proceed. Ask them if adding to your existing house roof would solve their problem. Remember that they can be a thorn in your side forever if they choose to. Try to make them feel in...
