    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

It does. The 2.5ah batteries have a higher amp output but supposedly less capacity. The higher capacity is why there are higher failure rates of the m12 3.0 and 6.0 batteries, as they are a higher stressed chemistry iirc. In real world use I think the 2.5 & 5.0 basically match longevity in...

I've rebuilt one m12 3.0 with newer samsung cells that died. The same ones used in the HO2.5. Not completely terrible if you can desolder and pop the spot welded tabs off. Here's the innards before iirc

On the icons, I like the smaller LED for close work and maybe better CRI. Plus the magnet is stronger. Only buy on sale though. I have 2, one with the led flipped.

How'd you like that spot blower? It's been a few years since I warrantied a battery but I think I just reused a prime bubble mailer for a bag. A thick Ziploc should be fine, as long as it doesn't need to be an anti-static bag.

I'd like to see it knock some heavier duty bushings, sleeves, etc. loose. Promising with that hub tho. In other news, just ordered a 3rd drill. The m12 brushless subcompact 3/8".

Ewww. Ball detent drives me mad. My 18" matco locking flex (3/8" drive) is probably my most used ratchet now. The detent would cause issues for me getting smoothly around objects one handed.

Diameter of the shank of the shaft on the bit used. The part inserted into the tool. The larger size is typically on a stronger/heavier duty tool.

An electric striking hammer that does similar work as a pneumatic "air" hammer. Something to add to your addiction/tool stable. Hoping it does well when they test them. Kind of a tough sell at $600 a pop tho, if it doesn't work as well as pneumatics ones.

Whaaaaaa? That's sick. But yes gen2 .498 is needed now. I wonder how long a 5 or 6ah battery lasts on it.

Comfortable flex head ratcheting wrench set recommendations please

X-beams are pretty nice if you can live without the flex. https://www.gearwrench.com/all-tools/wrenches/ratcheting-wrenches/85888-12-piece-72-tooth-12-point-xl-x-beamtm-ratcheting-combination-metric-wrench-set

Comfortable flex head ratcheting wrench set recommendations please

Kabo made extra longs (icon, k-tool, mountain, platinum, etc). With the opposite head gripped in your hand, it's better than most comfort wise. You can remove the smaller head off one side and add heat shrink if you want to make it even more comfortable.

Who makes the longest 1/2” ratchet

Matco does a 31-32", depending on handle.

It was worth it for me. If you're only doing carbide bits, not so much. But with 3" cutoff wheels, roloc sanding discs, etc.

After crossing the country 3x my brand-used 21/22mm kti wrench showed up to go under the knife (or chop saw in this case). Not sold on the wrench holder though. Might have to come up with something else.

1/2" Semi-Deep Impact Socket Set Options?

I've also got the genius semi-deeps. I like them. The thinner, stepped wall, has helped in a few spots.
