NI-Cd vs Ni-Mh

Anyone who has owned one of these drills knows why I wish to continue its use. I've ordered a charger and battery set. Hopefully I'll end up with 4 batteries or 2 chargers ..... we shall see!

Roger that American Locomotive. I understand the complex circuitry that some chargers may contain within them. And to that end, charging devices may not indicate true values when not in use. I am only hoping to findf a common denominator for the Bosch BC130 battery charger in its "plugged in"...

Thank you for doing that Cobbler, I really appreciate it. I haven't heard much more about this (Bosch) charging sytem. The one I have seems to be over charging and yours appears to be under charging. Weird!

I was able to jump the 2 bosch batteries into a state of positive voltage. Both will power the drill to a degree. I won't be leaving the batteries on the charger at all. So maybe the batteries can be saved, but this charger is not right. Any one knowledgeable as to what would make this charger...

My cordless hand drill uses an 18v battery. I have two of these batteries to alternate use, and a charger to keep them charged. Both batteries are totally dead and will not charge. The charger is producing 41 volts ... obviously much higher than its suppose to be. How can both batteries be dead...

Some of the stuff you read on line is simply not true. MHF and URD are not the same! Especially considering both can be used in direct burial applications. Also, in our area, you can use a breaker size larger than 90 amps when using URD, if buried untrayed, which is not the case with MHF...

Been here for 4 winters and many other properties over the years and never had anyone plow 35 feet straight over the edge of an elevated 12ft wide driveway. Your opinion on the matter is very much appreciated. I couldn't agree more, good judgement is certainly a thing of the past.

I give up on this one .... a new cord and we are good to go!
