Hi I’m wiring my new room addition, and wondering if it’s better to just go up and over the wall or go ahead and drill through the corners to run my wires even though theyre solid. (There’s four 2x6s in a row in the pic behind the 2x4)
What’s my best option I’m leaning towards cellulose but wanted to hear some thoughts before I commit.
Also do I need to do anything about the insulation bulging out of the plastic between 2x4’s? Will I have trouble putting metal on?
I’m trying to figure out the best way to insulate my 40x40 barn with 6x6 post walls.
I prefer not to use spray in because the barn already has radiant barrier up and I’m gonna try to do it all myself.
Like to see some pics of how people done theirs
Just hung my mr heater 80k Btu in my barn and went to test it before I get my propane tank and constantly blows the 3 amp fuse only when you turn the thermostat on, could my circuit board be bad?
It already has reflective barrier between the poles and metal and a liner panel with plastic on top of it in the ceiling so I figured I’m more set up for batts or blow in
I also wondered about a hanging heater and have the water heater system to just kinda help out and maybe keep the big heater from coming on as much to help maintain heat more efficiently but idk
Has anyone used a water heater as a boiler system through a heat exchanger and blower and heated a garage/ shop with it? Is it worth it? Or just buy a hanging propane heater and be done?
