Has anyone heard of Newland tools? I bought this socket set in New Zealand. The only thing I can find on the net is 2 x adjustable spanners on UK ebay. Ratchet is missing.

The file is flat.

I have found another one, in a museum, used as a paper weight. They said it was a reel mower sharpener. What do you think?

Thanks for that. I bought it cheap at a 2nd hand shop. Not seen this brand before and thought the curved handle was cool but looking at your photo, maybe it is bent! It would still be interesting to find out more about the Lock brand.

Does anyone have information on Lock Tools Australia? Is this pipe wrench as old as it looks or has it been mistreated!? Google only tells me there was a company in Victoria. Thanks

From the patent drawing supplied by four.cycle there is a wingnut etc.

Ooops, before anyone comments, the blade in the photo is the right way up but the wrong way round as it is a pull saw.

Can anyone ID this please, suggestion it might be a rim splitter but would be a large one. It is 22" long and 33" when extended. It only has Pat Applied For and TREX on one side and just a diamond shape on the other.

Photo showing handle size, which is small (and Bakelite). I have inserted a hacksaw blade to show it could be used as a pull saw with the possibly missing clamp to adjust the unsupported length of blade. But it doesn't really need the bar or, especially, the spring.

A hacksaw blade fits in but it doesn't really work. Notice that the bar slides back against a light spring.

Can anyone ID this tool please. It is branded ANYCUT. The bar is lightly sprung loaded. It looks like a piece is broken and missing, possibly a clamp, on the top left. A hacksaw blade will slide through but would be upside down and the bar is thicker than a hacksaw blade.
