I believe they are barrel nuts, if you find the correct size socket and push it on the backside of the pin it will compress and the emblem and barrel nuts comes out.

I called snap on customer service and after a couple of tries got new slides for all the drawers including the matching top box. And new wheels.

I think the top boxes are a and the bottom are just KRL1201, the newer ones have a paint code after the A for a top box. I could be wrong but.....

If you want to connect the locker to the top box or put it on the side of the box without the holes for the handle you need to drill some holes. It just depends on if you want to move the box and setup preferences. Use a swedge nut in the hole you drill in the box so you don't have to have a nut...

I just put a strap all the way around both and tightened the strap just enough the locker didn't touch the box and jacked the locker up to the right height tightened the strap to push the j hook into the gap and slowly let the locker down the 3/8" . Takes 5-10 minutes. I'm not going to tell you...

You can use them and it's about the same hardness as chrome. I have a tote full , from a small Snap on tool box to sockets and wrenches.

Maybe 3m emblem tape if you move your box very often ( or ever)

I have a set, Chrysler gave them to Master Technicians who had completed all the requirements. I have a small Snap On tool box that is a gold tool award

I bought a kr1200 it has 30" deep drawers. Kr1000a top same depth I will be picking up a pair of kra1012 side lockers that are 64" high 24" wide and 30" deep. All used in decent condition. Look for the good deals.

Where did you get the top mat. I found the drawer liners from Eppco , they make the material for Mac and Snapon. I can't find the top mat. Thank you!
