I got a pretty good deal on this, but when the previous owner had moved it, it had snapped off an arm and a chunk of the hub as well, sorry hopefully you can see the photo here?

Hi all, Just looking for a few pointers regarding the broken feed hub on my drill press I was thinking of perhaps cutting a piece of mild steel to fill in the hole and then welding it in, but are there any better ideas? I don't seem able to find the replacement part, correct me if I'm wrong...
