Dave, Thanks for the reply, Ive read through it and all I can figure is I need one switch at an entrance to the room, but theres now going to be 2 entrances. The way I read it I dont see a requirement for a second light switch at the new door, but could be wrong.

Thanks, that actually makes a lot of sense, and I do have engineer drawings but not gonna say they are easy to read. Im thinking I will pay a contractor for an hour of his time to come over and just talk me through the sill, floor truss's, and straps.
