    Shelving - Lost a Link

Excellent point. Hanging shelves: Wide, deep and open shelving with the support braces coming from above the shelve. From memory, I recall 2x4's as the base. I gooned the bookmark. Thanks.

    Shelving - Lost a Link

I am posting this here since I can't find the website I found in this section of GJ. One of the members here has a link to a website in their signature line concerning shelves...exactly the shelves I need. I did not bookmark the site and my computer erases all cookies and history when I close...

I understand. I am a retired Navy pilot who was first stationed here in 1988. I did my last tour here and decided to stay:)

    Rental House to Garage/Workshop

Last post for now, I promise:) As always, thanks to GJ for inspiration, thought provoking builds and a level of craftsmanship I'm aiming for. Some exterior shot of the barn I'm going to add a shed row on to for equipment storage. I measured all my stuff and need approximately 23' overhang to...

    Rental House to Garage/Workshop

The key is I do have a shop already, but need a lot more space for working on tractors, cars, etc. The first few attachments are exterior shots and some interior pictures of the barn I'm planning on adding to the back of for storage of equipment. The darker room was what they used to call the...

    Rental House to Garage/Workshop

This has been an interesting week of planning. My wife and I have been working through a number of scenarios for the next phase. We sat down and really worked through the needs of the farm, long and short term, what assets need to come into play, best use of storage and on and on. Before we...

    New Geobarn started

Again, terrific build. Do you have a floor plan? And, with a dormer, is the loft space usable? I'm trying to squeeze a small one bedroom apt/one car parking into the size you built. It may be a fools errand, but I'm qualified:) Thanks. Just beautiful.

    Rental House to Garage/Workshop

It was the Leonardtown Fire Department. As I wrote before, I was very impressed with their professionalism. That and their cool stuff:) Are you from this area? As always when in the planning stages of a project, I'm going through any number of designs and iterations...and learning Sketchup...

    My First Garage

Where is Southern Maryland are you located? I'm in Leonardtown. If you are close, there is a Habitat for Humanity center in Lexington Park that often has tools, and cabinets, etc. that are very reasonably priced. There are also a few pawn shops in the area that have tools. The Amish also...

    36 x 46 garage "rebuild"

Very nice...cars as well. I would be interested on your HVAC install details when you finish. I am in the beginning stages of designing a shop that will replace a rental house I owned. Since the HVAC was relatively new, I saved everything except the ducting to be reused. Again, terrific...
