Not hardly,thats underground 8 gauge and I also used it on my shop heater .

The 100amp is for the shop,the 40 is for one of my welding machines. I wired the whole shop,its been fine for over a year.Yes,it is a seimens pannel.

Its Alive! Went to town and got the right breaker.Got it resolved fast enough for my pace.Thanks for all your help.Will get it button up and post back.THANKS again

I have plenty of room in the box for the new correct breaker when I get it.

I can move the breakers around and make room for the lift 2 slot breaker when i get it

This is how I measured the wires coming from the panel

Heres some hopefully better plcs.l hard wired it,safety switch not hooked up yet.

I did test on both sides,with the contactor pushed in the meter reads 123 V on each wire to the motor .

I tested at L2 and L3,both read 123 volts each.the white and black wire combined are over 220.

Thanks, thats really all I needed to know before I call the lift company tomorrow. Just wanted to confirm. Disappointing all that work installing the lift and then it wont work. I had 0 help.

Just finished installing an Advantage 2 post lift.When I went to power up the motor it wont do anything. 240 going in 240 going to motor when i push the contactor.Lift company said it was the capacitors,I tested the capacitors and they were in spec.Ran 12 gauge 3 wire two hots and a ground.Motor...
