Great floor. What kind of hard use has this floor seen? Have you used jack stands,floor jacks, dropped tools,etc. Has anyone had an epoxy floor with a few years of hard service that can give us a sense of durability over time? John D.

I want to put some type of finish to minimize/eliminate oil, etc. stains. Epoxy seems the best given that VCT, ceramic tiles,etc. probably won't hold up to jack stands and rolling a 4 post lift around the floor.

Thanks Christine. It seems an acid bath would be easier then a diamond grind. From what I have read, the key to successfully applying epoxy is based on good surface preparation. Does it matter whether I us acid prep or diamond grind on an unsealed surface? John D.
