Oh it's not just tools. A lot of stuff is cheaper to get in the US.

Ya I hear ya there. I have a lot of specialty tool already, just looking to upgrade my basics as I just build a new garage so I'll keep the old stuff in the house.

I have a good set of screwdrivers from CT. Got it 70% off for 20 bucks. The Toptul stuff looks awesome but no pricing? Where do I buy it in Canada? I see 2 online stores but they dont have the complete sets.

Mostly Harley, however I am working on a honda for a friend, so I use both.

Ya Im starting to think the big one isn't that great. I have a bunch of stuff from Princess auto now, it does the job but isn't the greatest.

Few things but not much. The only reason was the sale prices and lifetime warranty. Well, and I have a sears card so I can get point but thats no big deal to me.

Aw man I hope not. I got an eamil back saying they would be geting in touch with the buyers and emailing me back. I also asked for where they are made.

Aaaaaand of course the Big one is on backorder until April.

My attached garage is full with bikes, can't park the cars in there. Currently building a 24x24 shop strictly for the bikes.

And that brings us to today, framers started, albeit 2 weeks late. Two walls up and one sheeted. At least it will be done soon.

Dug a trench to run power from the house. I am going to install a sub panel in the shop, probably 60 amp.

Ran into a bit of trouble because we could only dig a few inches before hitting solid rock. I had to have a breaker come in and do some excavating. That was an unexpected cost. Unfortunately I was at work that day so no pics. We had to lay gravel on top of the rock to make a level surface. It's...

I started a dedicated motorcycle shop on my property this fall. Actually just moved into this new house in Feb/12. It's on 2 acres and I bought it just so I could build the shop.
