I've had a set of us made husky combo wrenches since the mid 90's that I still use and they've never let me down. If you come across a set for a good price I wouldn't hesitate to pick them up if you need them.

CTA makes a 14mm hex bit that inserts into a 19mm box end wrench to make a stubby. I don't see a 17mm though.

You could buy a cheap set of 1/2 deep sockets and grind wrench flats into them. Crows foot and torque wrench on the flats and drop a hex through the anvil hole. Whole heck of a lot cheaper than $300+ for tools that see infrequent use.

Husky hand tools are perfectly serviceable for the home mechanic, especially if you pick them up on sale. I've never had an issue warrantying a broken tool, and if you ever lose something they sell individual pieces at the store which is something you can't do at HF.

You could try bringing the ratchet head with you to HF and see if any of the breaker bars they sell possibly have the right size fork.

I've got a 3/8 drive from my 90's Husky set. I use it for wheel bolts, valve covers, spark plugs, and motorcycle engine cases. Way faster than a ratchet while still having good feel when spinning bolts into aluminum.

It's too bad that more sets like this aren't available in the states. All metric sockets with the most common bit sockets and barely an l-key in sight. I even see E torx sockets and ribe bits in there... nice.

Tekton's website lists them as 3/8, but when you click on them and scroll to the spec section it shows them as 1/4 drive.

Question for the collective here regarding the pump style gooseneck cans. Do these work with something thin like wd40? I'd like to switch to buying it in bulk and this seems like a good way to dispense it right where it's needed with a lot less mess and waste.

Infar Taiwan makes these and offer the 1/4 with the drive lug at the end of the handle as well, but I couldn't find anyone that stocks them. They also make them in flex head as well, but without the drive lug. I found them at Webike Japan from a company called SK11.

Vessel makes bit sets that look to be about that long. Might make that a bit more usable for short $.
