Finally decided to buy!!! Bendpak scissor lift. Works great!

All depends how the ramps are built. Looking at photographs on the internet, some seem to anchor them to the floor, some attach the ramps to each other around the lift.... They could be built to be easily removed once the car is on the lift.

The wooden ramps are required if the vehicle doesn't clear the lift when driving over it.... the Bendpak is 4.75" when lowered, unfortunately my exhaust comes to approx. 3" to the ground.

The more I think about it, the less I think this will be an issue. The issue I will have will be clearance... I will have to build ramps on each side so that my car clears the lift. Will the lift damage my epoxy coated floor? I can see it scratching it, any chance of the epoxy cracking under...

I did my single car garage with a dual disc Edco grinder in 3.5 hours ..... a 7" grinder would have taken atleast twice the time!!!
