Can't imagine it being cost effective to have a machinist recreat the jaws, if I could find a decent used set that would be better. I've always admired old vices and this one was too cheap to pass up. I'm assuming the jaws are steel rather than cast iron, so I was wondering about welding them up...

New to vice restoration and the site. I just picked up a Charles Parker #22 vice and was wondering if there are any sites that sell used vice parts or anyone out there that has parts for a #22. My original ones are in very bad condition and I'm not sure they can be saved.
