Lincoln lithium grease gun vs the Milwaukee 18v fuel

I had the m12 for a couple years and was completely satisfied. I then got a deal on the m18 and bought it thinking it would at least be equal to the m12. After using both, I would recommend the m18. The preset pump counter is awesome, It comes with a longer hose, The weight difference isn't...

anyone compare the s/o 4410 and m18 fuel impacts?

I had the 4410, then the motor died after about 3 years. I bought the M18 w/ xc batteries to replace it because I liked the large selection of other tools that Milwaukee offers that all use the same battery. The 4410 has more power though, not a huge amount more, but more. It seemed to hit...

    3/8" cordless with real power?

I had a snapon ct1440 (14.4v 3/8 drive) for 3 years. Was very happy with its power and durability. Well, the brushes went out in the motor a few months ago and I made the switch to Milwaukee m18 3/8. I made the switch mainly because I was planning to expand my cordless collection and didnt...

    MG725 locked up?

A coworker and myself just got our mg725s back from being rebuilt. I had mine for 2 years and it was a week away from being out of warranty. I was trying to break some backing plate bolts loose on a hyster forklift (torque spec is 180 ft/lb with nord lock washers). After a handfull of 5-10...

Is this a workable job offer for an auto mechanic?

Is it the skill level going down or is it that the level of knowledge/mental competence required to do well in the field could get you a job that will pay better and be less demanding on the body? Dont get me wrong, I enjoy what I do (lift truck/machinery tech) but there are times that I wonder...

    Cornwell Truck

Our Cornwell guy just started a few months ago. He has had about 1 of every ratchet on his truck since he first started out and keeps a pretty decent stock of the basics.

Decided to upgrade...New to me KRL!

I bought the same combo (except the top was split instead of full length drawers) back in 2005 for $2200 used from the Snap-On guy. I would say you did pretty good.

Decided to upgrade...New to me KRL!

The gas struts should be warranty (my dealer swapped mine out under warranty) The original liners in mine ****, slid around a lot and would bunch up at the back from opening and closing. I was eventually going to swap them out for the tacky stuff in the newer boxes but upgraded to a bigger...

    Cornwell

I am in the same boat a the OP. I too have a lot of snapon (was the only dealer we had at most of the places I worked) That being said, even though snapon trucks are everywhere, they have a lot of things that are overpriced for the quality you get. We recently had a new cornwell dealer start...

    Relay pliers, Lisle or Schley?

I just bought the lisle ones last week. I tried searching for others, but couldn't find any other options. I like the fact that they grab from under. After seeing the other options, I would still go with the lisle. The plastic on the handles slide off, but the overall function is good...

    KRL failures

My bottom drawer on my 90th anniversary epiq wasn't bent/welded correctly on the front. It would contact the drawer below. Dealer swapped it out no problem and had the new one in a week. No other problems though.

    84" epiq or KRL1033

I agree with all of the above. The epiq is a stronger box, feels much stiffer than the krl in the drawers and I love the drawer latches. As far a white getting dirty. I work on equipment (hyster and bobcat dealer) and have the 90th anniversary. One good wipedown at the end of the day and...

    Show your new tool arrivals

I use them for removing/installing seals and o-rings on small/medium hydraulic cylinders. The thin flat tip works better than picks for getting behind o-rings and seals that sit in a groove.

    Mobile AC work

We have our a/c machine on a bracket with fork pockets. Pick it with a forklift, load it in your truck, and off you go. We also just got 50' hoses for it so you dont have to back right up to the machine.
