Just got mine yesterday, put my weight into it and it turned the lug without breaking. I asked about the replaceable square drive again and he said it is the same for the new style 3/4-1/2 adaptor that they just released.

right after i broke the drive end we were talking about the replacement piece and i asked if it was the same as the 3/4 - 1/2 reducer. i figured it would be smart on their part to do so because it would be one less thing to manufacture and its already proven for a good amount of torque.

what do i win?

i think he was mad that a product he was showing didnt perform. regardless what i used it on. they wouldnt make a product if they didnt think it would sell. like i said im still interested in it and have uses for it so i hope they do have a resolution

not that i know of. my dealer asked before he left "whats the torque on those nuts?" he wasnt happy

In response to your original question of what size fasteners are on over the road diesels... you will be fine with a 1/2" impact socket set up to 1-1/4" and 24mm. you start seeing the large fasteners when going into the driveline, 2-1/4" pinion nuts, 2-3/4" output shaft nuts, 3-7/8" wheel end...
