Integrating Air/Hydraulic pump with existing Manual pump on 20 Ton press?

My bad, it might not seem like it, but I actually did do some searching before I posted. Ironically, I found that video last week, but never noticed he had Tee'd into the original line. Feeling dumb now, but thanks for taking the time to set me straight

Integrating Air/Hydraulic pump with existing Manual pump on 20 Ton press?

Yea, essentially the distribution manifold I have would act as a T. I'm just a complete newb with hydraulics and any side effects of doing this, other than making sure any fittings/hoses/valves are rated for high pressure

Integrating Air/Hydraulic pump with existing Manual pump on 20 Ton press?

Guys, Wanted to see if any of you have upgraded / integrated an Air over Hydraulic pump where you have retained use of the original manually operated pump? Merits of doing so. or not, and how? I have an OTC 4020, foot treadle pump I will be integrating, or using to replace manual pump. I...

Snap-On KR-660C value - Good deal or not?

Correct, this box, and the other one I own which was off the truck...both have the bearing slides. The box is excessively heavy

Snap-On KR-660C value - Good deal or not?

I think recoup of $500 is possible, my real preference is something like the KR-661 with the taller, single drawer across the top. I've moved to vertical socket storage and the shallow top drawers are a pain. But I do need the space regardless

Snap-On KR-660C value - Good deal or not?

hey guys, Have an opportunity to grab a KR-660, price is $500, and Im throwing him $50 for delivery. There is some minor rust along the bottom edge, heavy oxidation on the front, lower right hand side on the 2 bottom drawers, and some minor dings. The appeal is I have a matching KR-*** 36"...

    Williams Sockets ARE Soft

I know this is an old thread, but thought I would chime in. I bought 8 sets of Williams USA socket a year or two back. 3/8 SAE and Metric and 1/4 SAE and metric, shallow and deeps of each. The sockets I got must have been in between production runs, because half the sockets had stampings with...

    Building shed on slope

If you plan on or are required to get a permit for that building, local code will dictate what is required. I built a 12x16 and got a permit, and the county required me to use J-bolts through the sill plate set in concrete, similar to code for single family dwelling

Best, "proper way" way to run power into AC disconnect?

Thanks Wylie. The EMT is not coming directly from the main panel (100A sub). The panel and a 20A breaker feeds a grounded 4" box via 12/2 romex and the THHN transitions from that 4" box downtream to the wall behind where the disconnect will be. I was unaware of the rules on upsizing and...

Best, "proper way" way to run power into AC disconnect?

Terry, thanks. Yes, I thought about that as well. The EMT is standing 3/4 off the studs when fastened, so the radius would work. Looks like the Rain tight EMT connectors fit the bill

Best, "proper way" way to run power into AC disconnect?

Hey Guys, I usually can find what I need through search function or Google, but I'm finding conflicting opinions. I'm running a 20A 120v circuit for a 12K Mr Cool. On the inside of the garage I'm running THHN (10ga, 1 Black for Hot, 1 White for Neutral and a 12G solid ground) through 1/2" EMT...

    Ideas for workbench top ?

Steevo, any dents in that 12ga yet from dropping tooling or heavy objects? Thinking of going the same direction for my lathe workbench top, and stuck between 1/8" and 3/16" steel sheet. Big jump in price and I don't plan on banging on it or welding, Lathe on one end, drill press on other.
