Nitrocat / IR Titanium users: Grease your impact!

Anyone who has just greased their nitrocat.. good job on screwing it up. Its an oil-bath design, you're not supposed to put grease in there. No wonder impacts stop working after less than a year whether its aircat or cp or ir. no one reads their damn freakin manuals.

    aircat tools ****

yeah.. shows you didn't read your manual properly.. or the warranty information that came with it. It actually makes alot of sense, if only you just read it properly.. Anyway, aircat seems to always get a beating by unsatisfied consumers because they are ingersolls competitor it seems, but...

Anyone use a AirCat 1200k Impact?

I have a 1200k and i oil it generously.. so far no problems... toooo strong. ive put it up against the xt7100 and the 2135. i really love the smooth, quiet power it has. Get one and you won't regret it, just be sure to oil it at the beginning of each day, at the end of each day, and in the...

    Craftsman wrenches

Im not talking all the time here, but sometimes, made in the USA is a little too hyped up. Depending on the tool you go for, its okay to go for china ones, especially wrenches. theyre metal like anything else and have a lifetime warranty anyway. Lots of things are made in china, even the oh so...

pulling the plugs off this 5.4 is not an easy job to do. Many times, even if you are careful, they will break right in there no matter how much de-carbon, rust breakers products, whatever. heads up!

    1/2" Drive Impacts

my opinion would either be IR or an aircat. I stay away from the snap-ons because i just find that the snap on brand is overrated and very overpriced except for a few specialty items. As others have mentioned, the ir231 is indeed a badass in terms of durability.. very difficult to over abuse...

    Nitrocat 1100-K vs. 2135TiMax

kinda hard to know when you havent owned one. ill find out soon enough. then again that seems to apply to their 1000tc models, i dont know if the new generation ones it applies. what happened to your aircat yellowbox? which symptom did it have. ive read so many online reviews about the aircats...

    Nitrocat 1100-K vs. 2135TiMax

just confirmed that the nitrocat will lose power over a couple of years, (less if not oiled everynight and before using it), as stated by the nitrocat manufacturer manual. it is normal and actually needs to be dissassembled and cleaned and regreased. it is part of the routine maintenance to...

    Nitrocat 1100-K vs. 2135TiMax

the nitrocat uses a rotor.. 10weight non- detergent oil seems to be recommended for those.. aircat actually advises not to use marvel air tool oil on their twin-clutch products.. im calling them monday to get the full scoop.

    In-line air filters/water separators.

any idea what kind of air tool oil to use? they recommend lightweight air tool oil.. they advise not to use marvel air tool oil.. and im guessing it has to be detergent free as it (foams up and gums up the inside of your tool). what a headache!

    Nitrocat 1100-K vs. 2135TiMax

anybody know where to find lightweight air tool oil, with no detergents? on the CH website they say all oils start off as 30weight and additives and detergents are added to create air tool oil. too complicated to find this damn air tool oil

    Air tool oil

Just wondering, since im getting an aircat soon with the twin clutch and it says this on their website: _________________ Twin Hammer- Use Lithium or bearing grease. One pump every few weeks is all you need. Twin Clutch- Use 1 oz. of 30w motor oil, but only if you see it leaking...
