I use the schrader style connectors . Very easy to connect. Easy to disconnect although it takes two hands to remove but only a twist unlike the I/M that needs to be pushed and pulled at the same time.

How tight is the trim to the floor? I've never sprayed trim. It may be too late to do this. After I install new flooring I tape wax paper down to the floor (no tape goes under where the trim will be), install the trim, paint the trim, pull the wax paper out.

I drain my dehumidifier with a hose connected to the lid of my sump pit. The pit and the inside perimeter pipe was installed when the house was built. I never had a need to install a pump. The radon system uses the same piping that leads to the sump pit.
