Trying to figure out what the snap on part numbers would be for this version of wrench made by williams I think in the late 90's early 00s

Helps for quick identification for sure. I noticed it seems a lot of the new tool wrench sets started marking blue and red, for metric and std. Guess the trend has caught on.

Williams made these wrenches (owned by snap on at the time) they also made snap on wrenches with the same style thickness font etc.. as far as I know. Just trying to figure out what the equivalent snap on part numbers are? (really only care about metric)

That's some inside stuff! The only way it gets better is to find someone that worked at the tool making factories at that time to explain exactly what was going on. But doubtful to find them in a tool forum. I guess the real question is what makes them less? Hard for me to tell, as everything...

The rare 10mm, 3/8" is intact. But looks like a few of the 1/4" mm have some fill in's.

How do you know if it's: Williams USA Kobalt? or Danaher USA Kobalt? I found an old set in my garage but the markings are small and un clear?

Yes it is a 4 drawer Pressteel. I bought it tonight. Overall solid, original color was blue (can be seen under the red). Rust seems to be superficial. Drawers are smooth and shut correctly. I'll take some pictures and post when I have time to clean it up some.

Couple year update: Shortly after this post I contacted Mac. They messaged me back asked for model #, they had them in stock and shipped them out to me! I drilled out old spot welds and welded new ones in place. Works good as new. It's amazing to have a company that still has parts in stock...

I like that idea a lot. I'm guessing a metal fabrication shop would have the supplies needed to get me going. Does anyone know if Mac has these rails in stock?

I picked up a vintage Mac MB920, and MB 903? toolbox today. But one of the rails inside the box at the top is totally broken. Has anyone encountered this? If so how do you repair it?
