I mounted mine in the NW corner and used only the middle bolt hole in the mounting bracket so it can be pointed where I'm working.

I've had the G-73 for two winters now and it only on when I have something going on in the garage. I have no idea what it cost to run but it will heat my 24x36 with r19 in the walls, only sheetrock on the ceiling & uninsulated doors from 34 degrees to 55 in about 30 min. I'm very pleased with it.

American V-twin point covers work well. A buddy of mine worked for a local motorcycle mfg. co. and they would change out the S&S logo'd points cover with thier cover and pitch the S&S's. Insted of tossing them he gave me a bunch, I added some screws, spacers and nuts and made handles. I'll try...
