Hey guys,
I call upon the vast tool knowledge of the garage journal crew. Lately, I've been gathering parts to give my old bike a tune up. The bike in question is a 1974 Honda CB750 (K4).
The parts I bought (just for fun):
-air filter
-oil filter
-tach cable (hoping it's just the cable ... tach quit)
-points plate (both points and condensers)
-spark plug wires
-iridium spark plugs
-carb kits
The tools:
-spark plug gapping tool
-feeler gauges
-cheap timing light
-bank of 4 vacuum gauges
My question goes back to the spark plug wires. The kit only comes with 2 wires with coil-end terminals crimped on both sides. The idea is that you cut the length you need and crimp on the spark plug holder end yourself.
Do I need a tool like this:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001UIAJ3E/?tag=atomicindus08-20
Or would something like this do the job + other jobs as well:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002STTTI/?tag=atomicindus08-20
If I can get a tool that will do spark plug wires and other crimps well then I will consider spending some more cash.
What say ye?
