    Leaning Tower of Piece-A-....

You've done a great job saving it so far. It actually makes me cringe that we knocked down a timber garage many years ago as it was leaning over so far.....all we had to do was kick open the door that was keeping it standing!

    Limestone 24' x 12' Motorcycle Garage/Workshop in Australia

I'm copping the same BS from my council in Melbourne. 1940s art deco house, but they don't want my garage confused with the original structure. Nevermind that I'm ripping the back half of the house off and blending that into what's left....same construction, paint and window frames!

    My New York garage/house build

We're not THAT much of a backwater! Modular homes have been around for years in Australia.

    the smithy, my blacksmith shop..

I've got no idea on the climate where you are, but given the expected heat (as noted by signcrafter) I'd think some windows around the top of the walls that you can open up for cross-ventilation would be a good way to keep your shop cool. Looking forward to seeing how you fill out the shop though.

New member, new house, two garages!

Well, I'm no Holden guy, but even I don't mind the Monaro. It's just a pity you guys got lumbered with that damned ugly front bar! The HSV fronts would have been nicer for the US model.

    The 5 Stitches Garage.

Re: My "Shop" That's one of the best ideas I've ever seen! I'm about to build a new garage, but it's right on the street (like 10 feet from the road!) so a solution like this is ideal to allow an open feel and keep flies out too!

    A New Magazine Down Under.

That's Ralph Plarre's garage under the tennis court. Used to see Ralph quite regularly with the Cadillac Lasalle club so I went there a few times many years ago. The garage is a beautiful space. Ralph's a real nice guy too and always made visitors feel more than welcome.

    Attractive Residential Rollup Garage Doors

It's interesting the use of the phrase "traditional garage door" here, 'cos the type AZ Glen has posted a pic of is exactly like the MAJORITY of doors in Australia are like, which I supposed is not surprising since that design was invented here in Oz. The vertical sliding doors that most of...

New Member New Garage - Australia

I'm guessing country Victoria....but then I've been wrong once before. Nice Lincoln. Not sure about the wheels but then it's not my car! Mate's got a black one.....factory RHD built for the US ambassador to Oz. Welcome.

    My project

Not bad?! It's ****** brilliant! Beats the hell out of spending hundreds or even thousands on fancy cabinets! I'm plotting the downfall of my kitchen for just such a salvage mission for my future shed.

    Thoughts on cabinet colors...refinishing

Match it to your underwear......pink! Personally I don't think cabinet colour really matters. Are you prepared to clean it a lot or are you simply not gonna get it dirty in the first place? Either way, it's the only time colour will matter at all.....although I personally would never do it white.

    Welcome to my little garage!

Jeff, that's the coolest garage I've seen.....and I've admired it on the HAMB too. What's even cooler is that you're building a T like me!

    Australian garage....errr, SHED nut....

Thanks Jeff! Hey, nice little write up of the rides in Hot Rods Illustrated 3! I should add...the crappy little shed at my place is technical MY first shed. Me and my girl bought our first house a little over a month ago and so I'm just gonna enjoy having somewhere to put my stuff for a little...

Hi guys, Been checking out the site for a little while but have waited for Ryan's prod in the back to register....a nice site you've got here.....REAL nice.:D Currently wallowing in the displeasure of tinkering inside a galvanised steel shed that has a dirt floor at one end and...
