Interested in 3D Printing - Recommendations and Hype vs. Reality

@LeonardY have you documented any of your resin printing on this board? I don’t think I have seen anything. I would be interested is hearing how resin printing works and what you use it for.

Has anyone built home made madness YouTube cnc

If you are looking for something small, a member here repurposed a laser engraver as a plasma cutter. I followed his directions and it works great for a small plasma table. Mine hangs in the wall. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/337-plasma-table.554068/ I think the Arc captain...

    Mounting a Branick 7200

They sell a flimsy looking stand on wheels for them so I agree that the frame handles all the stress of the spring. As long it doesn’t fall off the wall when the strut is mounted you should be good.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I will have to try it again in a few weeks. I had the seats flat and the steering wheel down. I know I rotated it in different direction trying to get it out. In your top picture, when I positioned it that way I was still about 2” behind the side window. The only video I have seen of one...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Which model Cayman do you have? I need to do this to my 17 718 but can’t get the headliner out of the car. I know it is supposed to fit out the passenger side but no matter which way I turn it, it will not come out without bending. I have watched the online version of it being done on a 981...

That isn’t horrible. A bit more beat up than I would expect. When you get it wear gloves and clean every surface inside and out with a real disinfectant like Cavicide.

Look for anything from VWR (private label) or Thermo, you can even get vacuum ovens relatively cheap on the secondary market. They should be large enough for a few spools. They will typically also have a pass through on the top to put a thermometer in that you can use to bring the filament out...

    Small Concrete repair

I have a crack in my garage near a control joint that I would like to repair. This lines up with where I typically place jack stands when lifting my cars. I also use a Quick Jack on this part of the floor. The crack is maybe 3-4 feet long. The floor has some unknown paint/epoxy applied long...

    Storage bins for attic

Anybody have any recommendations for plastic storage bins that will not get sticky in a hot attic? I had some of the blue Rubbermaid bins that have all turned into a sticky mess. I would like something plastic and reasonably well sealed for clothes and other household item storage.
