Considering, contemplating... The property has a 60' deep, 3' wide dug well with over 40' of water in it. Currently, water pressure is done through a jet pump in the house. The pump is nearing the end of it's life, getting noisy. There are no filters in the system. Water is very clean...

Moving in :) 7.5" of concrete, nearly flat bottom.. should be good and strong for a 2 post hoist. Now, the slow agonizing and extremely gratifying finishing part. Insulate, drywall, paint and build in the storage/benches.

The total distance from house to shop is <65'. The shop is going to be R50 in ceiling, R24 in the walls and I have R11 panels going under the floor and on the foundation walls. I'm not yet decided on whether to use straight water or antifreeze... I like the efficiency of the water much better...

The insulated pex is a product called Logstor It's pretty amazing stuff really. No worries about wet/efficiency at all :) It's a 1" diam pipe from house to shop (overkill for sure)
