    NewAge Pro cabinets alternatives

They never did. Sent another inspector, and never came back. I ended up with extra closet and extra base cabinet with drawers. Base one was damaged on top, bent it back, if you don't know you won't notice under the counter lip. Closet same thing - it's bent on top/bottom but not visible. In my...

Yep, those are kind of costly. But still, less than "fancy" stuff.

    NewAge Pro cabinets alternatives

I am finishing basement and have soffits in my new shop area. Saber won't fit. Even Newage PRO won't fit. Will go with NewAge bold series. Sux because those are only 18 inch deep

"Inside garage" How do you organize your projects?

Perfect example of what I mentioned. Car on a lift, suspension removed, new (rebuilt) shocks came in, and just before install I noticed this.. Now it's another 2 week+ wait for bushings they will send my way.. And I don't really want to install anything "temporarily" because those are...

"Inside garage" How do you organize your projects?

I have a parking spot in other garage where I can store car no problem while I am working on engine, etc. But ideally I need to be able to move it outside for cleaning, move it back, move it to other garage. Even if it occupies lift, I hate to do cleaning in garage and would be nice to be able...

"Inside garage" How do you organize your projects?

Not sure I follow. Hitch on OTHER car to pull from outside? Dip is not deep. It's just for water management but enough to be uncomfortable for pushing. Same as with lift. It's recessed, but there is maybe 1/2" difference in height where ends of platforms and slab. This operation is not going...

"Inside garage" How do you organize your projects?

For some "regular" car repairs I am sort of decent as well. In this case it's engine pulled (33yo car) and 1000 little things need to be done in a bay. Hoses, cleaning, etc. V12 engine will need to be disassembled to the point of block+heads to completely reseal it.

"Inside garage" How do you organize your projects?

Nothing like that. I was contemplating getting winch mounted. This car is BMW 7 series, so like 4000lb. Since I have scissor lift it's not flat floor. Almost flat, but not 100%. And there is dip between garages. Lot of times I just need to get car out and back in to reposition on a lift, or...

"Inside garage" How do you organize your projects?

I feel better it's not just me :) I thought there is people who can plan 100% and execute. I mean, I am OK with ordering every single thing now and wait for 3 month and then start working on project until finish. It's bottlenecks that kill "momentum", you forget where you left off, and it's hard...

"Inside garage" How do you organize your projects?

re: Dollies. I am not sure how they going to work. I have 2 garages with "dip" between them. Not flat surface. Also, my lift is scissor lift "in ground". I can't use dollies with those tiny wheels because of gaps around lift/slab etc. I was wondering maybe there is some kind of "puller" I can...

"Inside garage" How do you organize your projects?

I spend time typing when I am in an office, so can't really go to garage. When I go to garage at night - I want to minimize time I have to spend online. So, if I need to research or read manual or shop for parts - I want this to be done while in office, not when I go to garage at night. And I...

"Inside garage" How do you organize your projects?

This is not about tool organization. This is more about project logistics. Here is what I am battling with. So.. I got a project. It takes week(s) to get parts for more modern cars. For this one - lot of stuff NLA, lot of stuff takes months(!!!) to get. And here is my dilemma. I want to not...

cheap tire machine and balancer company

Didn't want to start another thread, but my Q is very similar. I think I am ready to start doing tires myself. I am sick of tire shops, process, prices, and scheduling. I found YT video where HF tire changed modified with https://lucidautowerks.com/products/ultimate-manual-tire-changer This was...

Looking for options and info. Have no idea what size and type of device I need 24x24 attached finished insulated garage with attic above. I have mini-split for heat/cool I use break clean for parts, sometimes various glues, etc. I feel like I am always breathing some chemicals. I cannot always...

    NewAge Pro cabinets alternatives

I asked for it :) They advertise orders over 4k ship free. I had over 8k order. So I emailed with list of stuff I want to order and asked if they can give me discount. They said yes, I asked for slightly more and they sent me coupon code to apply on checkout. Wouldn't publish numbers here for...

    NewAge Pro cabinets alternatives

Took me about 8 hours to get stuff unpacked, and closets loosely assembled. I just got shells all bolted up but didn't tighten anything. Yesterday took me and helper full day to get them installed. I used 1 1/2 angle iron. Bolted to every stud with solid screw. Probably overkill. Walls is not...

    Proper lathe stand

I have X2 hobby mill which is pretty useless. Lathe is useful, but again my use case is very primitive. At the same time I want something capable of 0.01mm precision. Guy in video above does motorcycle cylinder boring on his and that would be more than enough for me
